When Limitations Meets Music, August Rigo Drops ‘1243’ Mini EP

Singer/Songwriter August Rigo released his mini EP 1243 on SoundCloud. After much behind-the-scenes song-writing success with hits such as Justin Bieber’s “U Smile,” One Direction’s “Gotta Be You” and most recently Chris Brown’s “Back To Sleep,” as well as his own 2016 Juno Nominated album The Fall Out, Rigo is back with a collection of songs inspired by his environment.

“I created this 3 song ep with the idea of creativity through limitations. 1 keyboard (korg minilogue), 1 out of tune piano and the natural sounds of the house were my only choices. This is the sound of 1243.”

Artwork design by BANA, additional production by Vincent Nantes and featuring Ginette Claudette.

‘1243’ will be available everywhere on Friday, November 11th, 2016.

August Rigo Debuts “Easy To Let Go”

August Rigo has had much success writing for artists like Chris Brown, in which he wrote “Back To Sleep” from Chris’ album Royalty.

Recently, being nominated for his album The Fall Out alongside The Weeknd and Alessia Cara for a JUNO Award, today the talented singer/songwriter/producer drops his new single “Easy To Let Go.”

“Easy To Let Go” is an explanation of how it feels to be broken. The lyrics are a conversation with someone who left you on top of a hip hop groove with a melodic ballad on top, lush chords with emotional piano backing.
