Watch: Beyoncè’s Beautiful Epic Grammy Medley Performance!

Beyoncè  had the Beyhive as well as the internet buzzing last night with her beautiful performance medley of “Love Drought” and “Sand Castles” off her Grammy nominated album Lemonade.

Arguably the most anticipated performance of the night, Beyoncè’s mom Tina Knowles got things started with a short introduction. We had no idea we were in for one of the most visually beautiful performances in Grammys history. The performance/medley was an ode to motherhood and childbirth and opened up with hologram Bey doing well Beyoncè’ish things.

Don’t front like y’all didn’t collectively gasp when that damn chair tilted back like that.

In a very last supperish theme, Beyoncè walked across a long table flanked with beautiful muses.

It was a performance for the ages and yes her daughter Blue Ivy (looking stylish as ever), husband Jay Z and mom all approved.

Beyoncè was nominated for 9 Grammy awards last night and walked away two for Best Must Video and Best Urban Contemporary Album.

Adele took home the nights biggest honor Album of the Year, but graciously Kanyed herself and said that Beyoncè deserved the honor during her acceptance speech.

BUT still Beyoncè showed up and showed out in all her pregnant glory and of the course the world was here for it! Now of course it’s not Grammy night without hilarious memes, we showcased the slander thrown Cee-Lo’s way and yes even Beyoncè was memed. Now it wasn’t slanderous like Cee-Lo’s situation but they were still hilarious. Hit the gallery below to see hilarious reactions to Beyoncè’s epic Grammys performance:

Landing the No. 11th spot, the OVO boss nearly nabbed a top 10 spot coming in behind Celine Dion‘s $85.5 million. The Rolling Stones, Garth Brooks, Paul McCartney, Justin Bieber, Adele, Guns N’ Roses, Coldplay, Beyoncé, and Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band finish off the top 10 in order from lowest to highest.

The award show returns to the Big Apple this year. Grande landed 5 nominations along with Drake who nabbed Video of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Male Video, and Best Art Direction. Kanye West received two nominations for “Famous” while his foe Taylor Swift on the other hand garnered zero nominations. The pop star’s “1989” album came out in 2014 so her recent singles “Wildest Dreams,” “Out of the Woods” and “New Romantics” were ineligible.

West’s infamous track features naked images in the likeness of the rapper and other celebrities, including his wife Kim Kardashian, Swift, Donald Trump, and Bill Cosby. ‘Famous” is at the heart of the current feud between the Chicago emcee and Swift. Kardashian recently delivered receipts; leaking audio of Swift giving West her blessing to the lyrics, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex.” The “Wildest Dreams” singer originally denied West’s claims he reached out to her prior to releasing the song. She quickly changed her tune, now claiming West did not play her the entire track or reveal the lyrics in full omitting the line, “Why? I made that bitch famous.”

The late David Bowie, who died from cancer earlier this year, earned four nominations in the categories of Best Direction, cinematography, art direction and editing for “Lazarus.” The video featured the icon frail and lying in bed, eyes bandaged and was released several days before his Jan. 10 death.

Voting opened online Tuesday. Nominees for best song of the summer have yet to be announced. The MTV VMA’s will be airing live from Madison Square Garden on August 28 at 9 p.m. ET. Will you be tuning in?

TIME Names Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, Idris Elba & More As 100 Most Influential People

Time magazine released their annual 100 Most Influential People list this morning. Those named to the list encompass a multitude of disciplines and when describing this year’s list Time had this to say,

“There are world leaders and local activists, artists and athletes, scientists, moguls and a number of people who are running for President of the United States. One way or another they each embody a breakthrough: they broke the rules, broke the record, broke the silence, broke the boundaries to reveal what we’re capable of. They are seekers, with a fearless willingness to be surprised by what they find.”

One of these seekers is Nicki Minaj who earned one of the coveted cover spots along with other key players Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla ChanLeonardo DiCaprio, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Priyanka Chopra, and Christine Lagarde.

This year’s list was broken down into five categories: Pioneers, Titans, Artists, Leaders, and Icons. Pioneers who made the cut include comedian Aziz Ansari, Caitlin Jenner, and actress Gina Rodriguez. Titan honorees feature Dwayne Johnson, Stephen Curry, and Pope Francis. Kendrick Lamar, Ariana Grande, and Oscar Issacs are recognized as artists. Time chose Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Bernie Sanders as some of this year’s honorees under leaders. Lastly Adele, Usain Bolt, and Ronda Rousey are a few of the figures being recognized as Icons.

Time’s honorees aren’t just limited to favorable figures. This year’s honorees included some of the world’s most polarizing individuals like Republic Presidential nominee hopeful Donald Trump, North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un, and Vladamir Putin because they too have clout and can evoke reflection.

“The people on the list, each in their own way, have lessons to teach. We can debate those lessons; we don’t have to endorse them or agree with them. But the influence of this year’s TIME 100, to my mind, is that down to the last person, they have the power to make us think. And they are using it.”

There is no denying that everyone on this list holds some kind of influence in today’s world be it good or bad. You can check out the full list of honorees for Time’s 100 Most Influential People below.

Adele Knows Every Word To Nicki Minaj’s “Monster” Verse And It’s Amazing

Adele is the latest star to join James Corden on his Carpool Karaoke segment. While visiting his native London over the holidays Corden met up with the songstress for a drive around the city. They of course covered Adele’s hits including her most recent hit “Hello” as well as oldies “Someone Like You,” and “Rolling In The Deep.” The duo also covered The Spice Girls “Wannabe” and Adele slayed Ms. Nicki Minaj’s verse from Kanye West’s “Monster.”

The social-sphere went crazy and Minaj herself chimed in on Adele’s cover of her monster verse. Ms. Minaj called Adele’s rendition “IcoNic” and complimented the English singer on her attitude and finger wagging.

Minaj also sent out a tweet giving Adele props.

Posh Spice also weighed in on Adele’s karaoke skills on Twitter calling it “genius.”

You can check out the complete video of Adele’s car ride with James Corden below. She also discusses getting drunk off wine on Christmas and a few other interesting tidbits.

Of course Adele can’t do anything these days without breaking a record, her carpool video has now become the most viral late-night video since 2013. The lifetime viral record is currently held by Justin Bieber’s own carpool clip, but come on it’s only a matter of time until Adele nabs this title as well.
