Last Night In NYC…Singer/Songwriter JoJo blessed the Webster Hall stage in The Marlin Room sector with opening act Aaron Camper for the I Am JoJo Tour.

Opening up the night, singer-songwriter-background vocalist (Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown), Aaron Camper hit the stage to get the crowd warmed up.

The talented artist performed a few of his current singles (“Hypnotizing” & “My Heart”), while covering some classic hits like; Ryan Leslie‘s “Quicksand”, Boyz II Men‘s “Water Runs Dry” remixing it with Taylor Swift‘s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” — to current tunes like: Wale feat. Usher’s “Matrimony”, Wiz Khalifa feat. Charlie Puth‘s “See You Again” and so much more.

Aaron is just completely a natural talent!

Next up, none other than the gifted JoJo! With excitement in the air and screams from wall-to-wall within a packed out venue, Jo took center-stage and immediately took us back in time to her first self-titled 2004 album (“Baby It’s You”, “Leave (Get Out)”) — along with her second project, The High Road (“Good Ol”, “Like That”).

It was an amazing feeling as the crowd tackled every lyric as if both albums just dropped a day before the actual concert. Later, JoJo transitioned into a few songs from all three of her EPs/Mixtapes, adding up over the years during her tight label situation at Blackground Records, and lastly, gravitating to her current Tringle — a dose of 3-songs all at once. But not stopping there, the songstress even went to deliver her past Drake cover of “Marvin’s Room (Can’t Do Better)” and Jeremih‘s current platinum hit “Planes” featuring J. Cole.

JoJo also got personal with her fans, giving a description of what she’s been through over the years:
“I was depressed…So depressed. You all got me through it.”
She also mentioned how she’s grown into the woman that she is today. It’s clear that JoJo is back and ready to take the music throne.
The night turned out to be quite incredible as JoJo definitely left her mark right in New York City, once again.
Congrats to JoJo and Aaron Camper on a job well done!
