Fly News: A$AP Rocky Visits Students at the UA House in Baltimore

On the heels of his recently announced multi-platform partnership with Under Armour, A$AP Rocky took time during his A$AP Mob Too Cozy Tour to visit the Brand’s UA House at Fayette in East Baltimore. During his visit to the community center, Rocky spent time meeting with students in the music lab during their after-school program and listening and discussing their recent work. After gathering to discuss their shared passion for music, Rocky then led the students through a group cypher – with students showcasing their best freestyle lines!

A$AP Rocky said:“I grew up in

“I grew up in Harlem, and had limited resources to channel my inner creativity, so I spent too much time on the streets when I should have been more productive. I now have the ability to create a better situation for today’s kids so they can go from school to a safe place to create without boundaries. Under Armour was the company that was most excited about my idea to turn sportswear products on their head while bettering kids’ lives.”

Watch: Cassius Launches “CASSIUS Life” Franchise Series Featuring Dej Loaf

[anvplayer video=”4241854″]

One Digital is proud to announce the debut of the CASSIUS Life video franchise — an extension of the master platform, CASSIUS — featuring rap phenom and Columbia Records recording artist,
Dej Loaf.

CASSIUS Life will provide an introspective viewpoint on urban culture’s “dope, woke and unapologetic” figures. This aspirational franchise will highlight fearless trendsetters and key influencers such as Dej Loaf, A$AP Rocky, Migos, and KeKe Palmer — individuals who are creating culture complete with high fashion, famous friends, and stylish events.

Dej Loaf made an explosive impact on the market with the debut of her 2014 Billboard chart-topping single, “Try Me.” Since then, the Detroit native has maintained an impressive presence all while surviving the currents of an ever-changing music business landscape. As she marks a new milestone with the release of her album, Liberated, CASSIUS Life’s five-part miniseries provides an intimate glimpse into her frenetic daily life–meetings, highlights, and lessons learned.

“An artist’s debut is a monumental moment, and for Dej to tap on CASSIUS for this creative partnership affirms passion and spirit we both have to create monumental content right out the gate,” said Cory A. Townes, Associate Editor, Entertainment.

“We are so hyped to capture the work of such a promising new hip-hop artist, especially one who is a fierce woman. The music world has been waiting for DeJ Loaf and now they can come to CASSIUS to check out an authentic side of her artistry they won’t get elsewhere,” said Kierna Mayo, iOne Digital’s SVP of Content & Brands.

The Black Eyed Peas Remake “Where’s The Love,” Inspired By Series of Tragic Events

The Black Eyed Peas are back to once again to ask the masses “Where’s The Love?”

FergieWill.I.Am, Apl.De.Ap and Taboo recreate their hopeful anthem to inspire a new generation to take a stand.

Featuring an all-star line-up that includes Diddy, Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx, Nicole Scherzinger, The Game, Jessie J, Andra Day, Tori Kelly, Ty Dolla $ign, Usher, DJ Khaled, A$AP Rocky, Jaden Smith, and Justin Timberlake; Will.I.am told ATTN:,

“Everyone was calling on us, like, we need that song again.”

The remake was sparked by the tragic events that have taken place here and abroad. From the terrorist attacks in Paris, Belgium, and Turkey; the deaths of Philando Castille, and Alton Sterling at the hands of police; to the attacks on law enforcement in Dallas; and the Orlando mass shooting, the group felt it was a message the world desperately needed to hear.

The group hopes the record will resonate with Millennials like it did with the masses back in 2003. Will.I.am explains,

“Millennials are powerful. I don’t think they realize just how powerful they are. I hope this song inspires the millennials to go all out, scream from the tallest mountain, care like your freedom depends on it. Pay attention like that is at risk.”

The song is set to debut later on today. Until then check out a clip of Will.I.am, Apl.De.Ap and Taboo discussing with ATTN: what inspired the original and what led them to create a remake.
