It was officially #Meekend over the weekend as they Philly-born rapper celebrated his birthday and decided to drop some new heat for his fans. Powering up three tracks featuring the likes of ASAP Ferg and Young Thug, Meek Mill also released a new visual with his rap cohort Tory Lanez directed by Spike Jordan.

Today, featured in our SFPL’s Artist Spotlight is TAPZ! The young budding artist first broke onto the scene with his buzz-worthy hit, “KILLA” produced by Ricky Reed after Zane Lowe put it on blast last summer on his Beats 1 show. TAPZ has written and produced with the likes of 6LACK, Wynter Gordon, Vic Mensa and has toured with G-Eazy, A$AP Ferg and more!

Now, we would like to offer up his new visual for the new single “Run Don’t Run.” The song is off of his upcoming EP which is due out this Spring.

On today’s SFPL’s Artist Spotlight, multi-talented artist Crystal Caines releases her newest track “No Drama.” The eclectic single showcases Caines artistry as a lyricist and boasts sounds curated by her and her production collective The Understudy. The official song is her second release of 2017 following her debut track, “Run With Me” featuring A$AP Ferg.

New Video: French Montana & A$AP Rocky – “Said N Done”

French Montana and A$AP Rocky keep the party going in the video for their collaboration “Said N Done.”

We find the Coke Boy and A$AP Mob MC living next door to one another taking full advantage of their bachelor pads with simultaneous bashes full gorgeous women.

Directed by Eif Rivera, the video playful captures the duo rocking silk shirts and having fun as they smoke, jump on beds, and enjoy all the female attention. They eventually switch rooms for a glimpse of how the other is living. A$AP Ferg also makes a quick cameo.


“Said N Done” dropped back in August and was originally a single off Montana’s now scraped MC4.

This weekend Bud Light invaded All-Star Weekend, taking over 211 Royal Street with the Bud Light Crew HQ. Throughout the weekend, the guests danced to some hit record spins by DJ’s Zaytoven, Sonny Digital and even Basketball Wives LA star, DJ Duffey. The stage was later set ablaze by electrifying performances by New Orleans’s finest musical acts – Jay Electronica, Mannie Fresh, Birdman, and 2Chainz. Grammy-award winning superstar Toni Braxton even stopped by to see Birdman take the stage, along with Hannibal Buress who came by.

The space was full of activities for friendly competition, including a pop-a-shot gallery and an NBA Jams arcade tournament. Hit rappers A$AP Ferg, Stalley, Master P and fellow friends/Wu-Tang Clan members Raekwon and Ghostface Killah event battled it out in wings contest called “Hot Ones.” Also, former Houston Rockets player, Kenny Smith also stopped by with his daughter/recording artist Kayla Brianna.

A$AP Ferg Gifts Fans with a “New Level (Remix)” For his 28th Birthday [New Music]

You may not have thought A$AP Ferg‘s “New Level” could climb any higher, but today the summer smash reaches new heights.

To commemorate his 28th birthday the Trap Lord gifted fans with a remix of the Always Strive and Prosper lead single featuring his mob brother A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, and Future.

The Harlem emcee’s hit maintains its grandiose flair while Ferg takes the time to speak on the current status of police relations with PoC.

We find Future on the hook delivering passionate ad-libs with Uzi Vert coming in to drop a braggadocio verse about the levels he’s reaching.

Pretty Flacko closes out the record also touching on the issue of police brutality, but not before bragging about his acquired model status.

Alexander Wang Debuts Fall ’16 Campaign With A$AP Ferg, Big Sean, Tinashe, & More

The realms of music and fashion are at the forefront of pop culture. Bringing them together creates an explosive combination, with the end result looking a lot like Alexander Wang’s Fall ’16 Campaign.

The prolific designer tapped a slew of artists including Alice Glass, A$AP Ferg, Big Sean, Metro Boomin, RL Grime, Skrillex, Tinashe, Tyga, Vince Staples, and Zoë Kravitz; as well as influencers like Kylie Jenner for the 60 sec clip.

Directed by Director X, the featurette follows the cast as they party the night away at an L.A. mansion. The video also features new music from Skrillex created exclusively for the campaign.
