Fly Events: Ford F-150 Truck Tour with A-Boogie Wit Da Hoodie

Over the weekend, Ford closed out the F-150 Truck Tour at North Carolina Central University’s Homecoming weekend in Durham, NC. Platinum recording artist A-Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, performed at the Ford Stage and helped Ford’s “Drive 4 Ur Community” initiative raise $20 for every test drive to support The Tom Joyner Foundation.

A-Boogie also teamed up with Ford to honor North Carolina Central University student Jordan Thomas, who is making a difference and going further on his campus through community service. Before his performance on the Ford Stage at NCCU, A-Boogie joined Ford’s Multicultural Communications Manager, Dee Guerrero at a special private breakfast to honor Jordan and present him with a Ford Prize pack.

SFPL Feature: Chris Brown feat. Yo Gotti, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie & Kodak Black – “Pills & Automobiles” [Video]

[ione_embed src= service=youtube width=583 height=328 type=iframe]

Breezy drops the most LIT visual to take us right out the summer! Literally dancing in the tides of a water park, Chris is joined by Yo Gotti, Kodak Black and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie for CB’s track “Pills & Automobiles.”

In Chitterling News: Kodak Black Wants To Fight Lil’ Wayne

Is a new trend starting for real boxing matches or are people just looking for publicity? Well, Florida rapper Kodak Black seems to want to join the Chris Brown vs. Soulja Boy fun and now wants to fight Lil Wayne.

During what seemed to be a studio session of some sort with fellow artist A-Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Kodak takes his talents to Instagram and announces that he wants to fight Weezy since Chris and Soulja are participating in a fight as well.

“Tell Lil Wayne, fight me. I’ma knock that stupid ni**a out. If he whup me, he’s the best rapper alive.”

Boogie chimes in and said he will “put his jewelry on it”… 😦

Where is all this coming from? We have no clue. How do you wanna fight someone that has been in the rap game since you were in pampers?!

Wayne may entertain him a bit socially but we’re sure he’s not getting in the ring and waste valuable time that he can be spending in the studio with Nicki Minaj and Drake.

Last Night in NYC

Last Night In NYC: Verizon & 300 Entertainment’s #Freestyle50 Challenge Event with Kevin Liles, London On Da Track & more

Freestyle. The pulse of hip hop culture that fuels creativity, freedom and lyrical skill. In the beginning, freestyling refined the art of lyricism. Today, it takes on a new meaning, defining the way in which we pioneer our way through life. Freely, boldly and without boundaries.

To honor this movement, Verizon partnered with 300 Entertainment to find the nation’s best freestyle lyricist with the launch of the #Freestyle50 challenge. To celebrate, both companies kicked things off with a celebration for the new series that included special invited guests, artists, media, and industry tastemakers.

Hosted by LowKey of and Beats1, Key Hosts Kevin Liles (300 Entertainment Co-Founder and music executive) & London on da Track (Music Producer and Songwriter), guests with performances included: Power 105.1‘s The Breakfast Club host, DJ Envy, along with A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Dave East, Astro, Casanova, Maino, plus more.

Attendees were treated to light bites at NYC’s own Espace paired with specialty cocktails and music by DJ Envy.

The national competition will award seven aspiring artists the gig of a lifetime as opening acts across upcoming 300 Entertainment’s artist tours. They will then compete in a live, freestyle cypher event in Atlanta for a chance to win the grand prize of a single deal with 300 Entertainment and a cash prize of $10,000.

The #Freestyle50 challenge is providing a platform for up-and-coming artists to not only showcase their talents, but celebrate themselves and build upon their careers. Verizon and 300 Entertainment are encouraging people to freestyle about who they represent and how they are shaping and navigating culture – freestyling their way through life.

The #Freestyle50 challenge was inspired by Verizon’s 7GB for $50 prepaid offer exclusively at Walmart for a limited time.

Instructions: To enter, share a video on Twitter or Instagram freestyling to the instrumental of “Spend It” by Dae Dae using hashtag #freestyle50challenge and tagging @Verizon.
