New Video: Belly – “Frozen Water” ft. Future

[ione_embed src=https://www.youtube.com/embed/aouGE-yYNcU service=youtube width=1280 height=720 type=iframe]

Today, rapper, songwriter, and producer Belly have shared his latest set of arresting visuals for his newest single “Frozen Water” featuring Future. The clip was directed by Rollo Jackson (Jamie XX, Danny Brown, Hot Chip) and features the two MCs performing the track amidst dark, cinematic backdrops, matching the songs own uniquely intoxicating tone. The song is taken from Belly’s latest full-length release, the 2016 mixtape Inzombia via Roc Nation.

Belly is currently in the midst of the Rubba Band Business: The Tour, with Juicy J. The 36-date tour stops next in Atlanta, GA tomorrow, February 23 at The Tabernacle. The tour is set to make a stop in New York, NY on March 2 at Irving Plaza before wrapping up on March 18th in Milwaukee, WI at The Rave. Billboard recently described Belly’s “incredible stage presence” at the tour’s Los Angeles stop, exclaiming:

“the MC’s stage presence was infectious as he went into the crowd, jumped up and down, and equally performed at both ends. For a new artist, the rapper carries a performance well and is definitely on the radar to continue to rise in popularity.”

It has also just been announced that Belly will be a special guest on the North American leg of The Weeknd’s Starboy: Legend of The Fall 2017 World Tour. Belly will act as support along with Rae Sremmurd and 6LACK. The tour is set to kick off April 25 in Vancouver, BC and will trek through major cities, including multiple dates in Los Angeles, CA (The Forum on April 29/30) and Brooklyn, NY (Barclays Center on June 6/7). All official dates can be found below. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.ticketmaster.com.

Belly’s third full body of work in a year, ‘Inzombia’ was released at the end of 2016 and has since reviewed attention from the likes of Complex, The FADER, GQ, XXL, Noisey, Pigeons and Planes, Billboard, Hot New Hip Hop and more. The project features collaborations with the likes of rising rapper/producer NAV (Re-Up), Jadakiss (“Trap Phone”), Young Thug (“Consuela”) and more. Recently, The Academy Award-nominated hitmaker’s #1 single “Might Not” featuring The Weeknd, taken from his mixtape Up For Days, achieved gold status for sales of over 500,000.

Fly Visual: 6LACK Heads to the Strip Club to Clear His Mind in “Ex-Calling”

Fresh off releasing his debut FREE 6LACK, 6LACK — pronounced black — delivers the visual for “Ex-Calling.”

The Atlanta rhymer/singer takes viewers to the strip club in a grainy black-and-white clip as he attempts to get his mind off a past relationship gone awry.

Still dealing with the feelings from the break-up, perfectly conveyed by the dark and moody aesthetic of the video combined with his somber tone; we see 6LACK make it rain as women gyrate up and down the pole.

“Ex Calling” appeared on 6LACK’s debut which dropped last month and is a remix to Future’s “Perkys Calling” off Purple Reign. Watch it below.
