T.I.’s homecoming could not have come at a better time as he was released just days before the taping o the 2011 BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta on Saturday. That’s actually perfect timing.

The festivities brought out Young Jeezy who took the stage with a performance of his new jawn “F.A.M.E.,” bringing out T.I. as his guest, who also performed his new track “I’m Flexin’” during the opening song.

We hear a few fights broke out at a few after parties over the weekend not to far from TIP, which makes me cringe a little bit. T.I. be careful, and learn when to keep your ass at home.

Taylor Swift was on hand for her second sold-out show at Philips Arena on Sunday night in ATL. Following her performance with Atlien, Usher the night before, Taylor took the stage with native Tip to perform his hit “Live Your Life.” She’s a smart cookie. When in ATL, bring out the natives!

“Singing ‘Live Your Life’ with TI tonight was unreal. LOUDEST screams from the crowd, 14,000 people, hands in the air- welcome back @Tip!!”

She tweeted.

Not since Ray J completely made an ass of himself two weeks ago have I felt this feeling. Long story short, Ciroc Ambassador Diddy, hosted a Hip Hop Awards After Party alongside T.I. in ATL this weekend. At the Party a few patrons were seen holding up bottles of Grey Goose, taking pictures and having a ball. Allegedly the Grey Goose drinkers were taunting Diddy by putting the bottles in his face. Because the Bottles were not Ciroc, Diddy (who was on the mic) went on a complete Tirade including throwing ice at the taunters, telling them to put the bottles down because ‘Ciroc Boys’ were in the building. It wouldn’t have been so bad if Diddy would not have went on a complete rant calling the party goers ‘Bitch Ass Niggas’ and perpetuating the situation with a slew of ‘Fuck ya’ll nigga’s‘.

Very Classy Puff.

An irritated T.I. grabbed the mic, and told Diddy to calm his ass down, “You got to much money for that Puff” he screamed into the mic. I do wish T.I. would have pulled Diddy to the side instead of sonning him in front of everyone, but that man just got outta jail. He was NOT trying go back after a fight over alcohol. No sir.

His ass should have been home though.

Ummmm, Despite his record-breaking 18 nominations, Lil Wayne and his Young Money crew were absent from the Hip Hop Awards.

I can’t make this up. As TMZ reports, A Tupac sex tape has surfaced.

A five-minute sex tape showing Tupac receiving oral sex while rapping and dancing has surfaced … and TMZ has seen it.

The tape, shot in 1991, begins with a bunch of groupies in a living room during a house party. Tupac walks into the room with his pants down to his ankles, his shirt off … sporting several chains.

Tupac — whose head is shaved — pulls one of the women toward him, and she begins performing oral sex. As she does her thing, an unreleased song of Tupac’s is playing in the background, as Tupac is singing along and dancing, wiggling his hips.

And it gets even better. As the woman services Tupac, who is holding a cocktail in one hand and a blunt in another, Money B from Digital Underground walks over to him. Tupac puts his cocktail arm around Money B, continues singing and dancing … and the woman never stops.

As the tape ends it appears he’s ready to begin sexual intercourse. It’s unclear if there’s another tape.

We’ve learned the person in possession of the tape is making plans to release it.

Somebody would want to see this?

After a long weekend, we’re back at it with your Daily Word, You ready?

Looks as if Pop Star Mariah Carey is back to work. Less than six months after giving birth to her twins, the new mom has returned to the studio to begin her next album. She and longtime collaborator Jermaine Dupri have posted photos of themselves in the lab. I’m hoping she steps out of the Dupri box a bit more this time around. I mean, we’ve already been down this road.

“So happy to be back in the studio with the one & only @Mr_Dupri aka Jermash!” she stated.

Mariah’s voice is one that I’d love to hear over a plethora of different beats and production. Hopefully I get my wish.

Seems as if Lauryn Hill has an affinity for High Fashion, especially when it’s free. A fashion consultant/stylist who fitted Lauryn Hill with clothes for her European tour back in 2007 is suing the singer, claiming Lauryn never returned a majority of the clothes.

TMZ Reports that According to a lawsuit filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Via Davia Vintage provided Hill “with an entire wardrobe of high fashion items.” The company claims L-Boogie agreed to pay a fixed weekly fee for 4 weeks. But according to the lawsuit, Hill held the clothes hostage for three months, paying only a mere fraction of her balance.

Mind you, this is the second time in the last two months that Lauryn has been sued because of her 2007 European Tour. Last month, a guitar player sued her for $20,000 claiming unpaid wages. What was going on in 2007?

*sighs*

Once again Amber Rose crying. It seems as if every other week she’s complaining and crying in a corner. Ungh! Earlier this week she received a huge backlash after she visited Ghana to host the Vodafone 020 festival and paid a visit to the youth that are living in poverty. Many Ghanaians were offended when Amber chose to tweet photos of those who lived in poor areas and stated that people in Ghana were either extremely rich or extremely poor, with no middle class. The statement pissed off many who stated that Amber should inform herself on the continent of Africa as well as the country of Ghana before making any comments in the future, in reference to things she knew nothing about.

I agree.

I absolutely HATE anyone who makes erroneous statements without proper merritt. That tweet was based on what you SAW Amber, not based on what you know. They should have given it to you, your statement was ignorant.

She wrote a blog about her frustrations. Stating that she get’s a bad rap because she’s a woman, and there is a complete double standard in this industry regarding the activities of men and women.

I used to like Amber, but the more she opens her mouth, the more her ignorance turns me completely off.

Go back to school Amber.

Learn how to address the real issue. The Ghanaians are not upset with you for being a woman, and they could care less about your nude pictures. Your tweet was ignorant to their culture, and THATS why they were upset. Your statement was based on what you saw and not what you knew to be a fact, and yet you put it out there to all your followers as if you knew what you were talking about. Not realizing that DING DING DING someone MIGHT take your tweet for fact and inherit your ignorance about the country. That was the issue. Do yourself a favor and do some research before you make comments about the current state of a countries livelihood. Because you know what? Someone might get offended. Don’t you get offended when someone automatically calls you a talentless whore without knowledge of you? based on assumptions and WHAT THEY SEE? Ring a bell?

Shut Your Mouth.

I’ve heard of coming home parties when people come out of prison (Yes, it’s what brown people do), but a welcome home brunch?

That’s fancy.

And I do mean Fancy. T.I. is scheduled to have a Welcome Home brunch following his release from prison in a few days. Sources say Diddy is personally shipping in 150 bottles of Ciroc, one for each person in attendance, and the bash will cost around $100K, including $20K on food and additional $8K on dessert.

That’s a lot of money to blow. Sometimes we as a people do to much. He’s coming out of jail, he didn’t graduate from College.

The brunch is “allegedly” (Air Quotation Marks) October 2, two days after Tip gets released from the halfway house.
