Headliner Kanye West took over the Glastonbury Festival stage in a major way!
The music phenom provided his set of hits like: “Power”, “All Day”, “Stronger”, “N**gas In Paris”, “Mercy”, “Gold Digger”, “Touch The Sky”, “No Church In The Wild” and the list goes on. West literally performed a total of 30 songs…yes, 3-0-songs!
During his festival takeover, Kanye got “Taylor-Swifted” as everyone has been saying, where Comedian Lee Nelson jumped in the middle of Ye’s set, as he was actually making an appearance, with mic in-hand, and a “Lee-zus” tee. In KW fashion, he signaled the sound man to start the track over, once Lee was whisked-off stage right. After, Yeezy immediately goes into acapella mode, until the track comes back in.
Pharrell Williams debuted his new tune “Freedom” at the Glastonbury Festival just before Kanye West hit the stage, making it the song’s first reveal ever. The featured song is a great follow-up to Pharrell’s chart-topping hit “Happy.”
The song and video will be available exclusively on Apple Music on Tuesday, June 30th.
The ladies of Fifth Harmony took their talents and hit songs over to Jimmy Kimmel Live! From their chart-topping album Reflection, the lovely ladies performed “Worth It” and “BO$$.” Kid Ink graced the stage as well with his assistance of a few rap bars. Check out both videos above and below.
Just not too long ago, King Bey has us on the edge of ours seats during her epic tribute performance for the one and only Stevie Wonder.
Today, Beyonce gives us an up close and personal visual via Tidal X of preparing for the show with artists Ed Sheeran and Gary Clark, Jr., both Beyonce personally picked to hit the stage along with her. With the added flames of talent from both Ed and Gary, it was only right that they were present to bring out the natural sound that Stevie has implanted in the music industry.
Lauryn Hill was scheduled to perform in Nigeria over the weekend but ran into some drama with her party promoter. After waiting hours and hours at the airport, they realized that the show in Nigera would not be happening. She posted a message on your website saying:
Hello Lagos, Nigeria! We are disappointed to report that we will not be performing at tonight’s concert. From our end, we did everything we were supposed to do, including waiting at the airport for many hours, ready to fly out and share the evening with you. Unfortunately, after much effort, the promoter was not able to get all of our travel arrangements taken care of. This prevented us from being able to fly into Nigeria in time to make the concert. We were all very excited to come, and very disappointed that we couldn’t make this one. HOWEVER, we are working to reschedule our appearance ASAP. From what we’ve been told, the promoter intends to honor all tickets sold. Our best to and for Lagos. Love and Blessings!
Ms. Lauryn Hill and the MLH band and Production Team
Fortunately for the rest of us, she sent a token of her appreciation in a video posted on YouTube of a live acoustic version of her singing “Doo-Wop (That Thing)”. Check out her daughter in the back singing just like her Mama!
Ms. Hill has released a statement regarding her scheduled performance in Nigeria. Got to: http://t.co/FtDBsbpcTC
Dangerously in Love. B’Day. I Am…Sasha Fierce. 4. Beyonce. Todrick Hall covered not only one but five Beyonce albums in four minutes, but in the video posted on youtube, Hall targeted his inner Beyonce and gave you over 70 Beyonce songs in one video.
