SAWEETIE DROPS “PRETTY B*TCH FREESTYLE” TO CELEBRATE HER BIRTHDAY

[ione_embed src=https://www.youtube.com/embed/Xv6Ds99h8c4 service=youtube width=560 height=315 type=iframe]

You know we love Saweetie over here. Despite all that internet side-talk, the Multi-platinum selling ICY rapper released a new track and video for “Pretty B*tch Freestyle” in celebration of her birthday yesterday!

You may remember she recently released her single “Tap In,” inspired by fellow Bay Area artist Too Short’s classic “Blow The Whistle.” Beside’s a little push back from folks who were tired of her sampling old school classics, she still received looks from BillboardComplexMaximE!, and more. The Wall Street Journal also included “Tap In” in their summer playlist, commenting, “The bumping sample of Too Short’s ‘Blow The Whistle’ and confidence of Saweetie’s vocals are sure to demand inclusion on lots of summer playlists.”

Peep her freestyle above, and listen to “Tap In” HERE and watch video HERE.

Lecrae Partners with Love Beyond Walls To Plant Portable Wash Stations Around Atlanta Metro Area.

We here at Stuff Fly People Like are dedicated to bringing you all the good news in the midst of this Global pandemic called The Corona Virus.

And this is FLY! Multi Grammy Award-winning platinum selling artist, Lecrae (and friend of the Fly People) has partnered with Love Beyond Walls to plant portable hand washing stations around the Atlanta Metro Area, with the purpose of ensuring that homeless and displaced people have the option of cleaning their hands in response to Coronavirus (Covid19).

Lecrae

(Executive Director and Founder of Love Beyonce Walls, Terence Lester)

How Fly Is That?

Before the announcement, Stuff Fly People Like caught up with Lecrae to get the scoop, and this is what he had to say:

Stuff Fly People Like: “We heard that you are doing some great things in the city of Atlanta to help with this pandemic, can you tell us a little more about that?”

Lecrae: “Yes, my good friend Terence Lester runs a non profit called, Love Beyond Walls. I’ve worked with him for years to get involved to help people experiencing homelessness, to hear their stories and humanize them. And I’m taking my staff and my artist over to the Dignity Museum, that he created, just to help us wrap our minds around how to help people experiencing homelessness. During the pandemic, a lot of us are buying up the hand sanitizers, and we have the space at home to wash our hands, and we are not thinking about people who don’t have the means to wash their hands. People who are at risk, because they have tuberculosis or bronchitis from the conditions that they live in. So who is taking care of these folks? So Terrence and I got together, and I asked him, what can I do? And he said, I want to get some portable sinks to put out all over the city. And I asked him the cost, he told me, and my answer was, say no more, let’s do it. So I brought some portable sinks, and I partnered up with him, and we are going to put them throughout the city. So that people experiencing homelessness can have the opportunity to sanitize on a consistent basis.”

We can’t express how commendable this is!

The initiative kicked off at 10am Today, Thursday March 19th at Love Beyond Wall’s Center located at 3270 East Main Street, College Park, GA 30337.

Lecrae will join the Love Beyond Walls team at 10am to begin assembling the sinks after which they will be filled with water, loaded on trucks, and distributed to key locations frequented by the homeless in the Atlanta Metro Area.

JADAKISS TALKS KOBE BRYANT’S LEGACY, IF HE’D VOTE FOR MICHAEL JORDAN FOR PRESIDENT, & NEW ALBUM “IGNATIUS”

Jadakiss

Our family over at Cassuis Life had the pleasure of chopping it up with one of rap’s G.O.A.T.’s, Jadakiss. The brands solicited some of our favorite brothers to be apart of the conversation, including our Co-Creator, Rae Holliday, our Photographer/Editor, Bernard Smalls and The Deputy Editor for Cassius Life, Bruce Goodwin. During the interview, the room discusses Kobe Bryant’s legacy, Michael Jordan for President, and Jada’s new album. The best part however, is Rae and Jada’s hilarious one-on-one over a game of pool, in which Rae has never played before. The results are priceless. Watch the video below, and of course, give us your thoughts.

The City Girls Prepare To, “BE OUTSIDE!”

The City Girls

Fly Guys Elliott Wilson and Brian B. Dot Miller of Rap Radar, recently sat down with The City Girls to discuss everything from new music, their new celebrity status, relationships, and more. During the interview the “Act Up,” ladies show nothing but gratitude for their fans and platform. The most important gem we took from it, was their complete humility. “I don’t think that I’ll ever be a Monster,” says J.T. “Or think I’m a celebrity like that,” as she explains an interaction with a fan who noticed her in disbelief, as she casually walked around a Bowling Alley in Miami. “I mean, for the most part I like it, you know, I always wanted to be famous, so I Love it,” adds Young Miami, who held the group down effortlessly and pregnant, while her right hand served a bid in prison.

Peep the dope interview below, and let us know your thoughts!

Tinashe wants us to ‘Die A Little Bit.’

Listen Ya’ll, we don’t know what it’s gonna take to make Tinashe POP like the star she is, but we are glad she keeps going for it. Our girl has chucked the majors the deuces and decided to go the Indie route this time around, and we ain’t mad. According to Forbes.com;

Tinashe’s split with record label RCA earlier this year was a symbolic transfer of creative power back to an artist who many believe shouldn’t have been limited by label executives in the first place.

Touché!

Her new single, ‘Die a Little Bit,’ features British rapper, Ms. Banks, and we must admit, it’s a BOP!

Now you know, we LOVE Tinashe on a dance floor, so the minute the beat drops, you know what time it is. And she doesn’t disappoint. We hope this works for her, because lord KNOWS she deserves a break. Step in, and give us your thoughts.

Cheers to hoping it’s only up from here.

FYI, This is the first release off of her new indie imprint, Tinashe Music Inc.
