On Friday, July 5, 2019, HBO hosted the Human By Orientation Gallery Exhibit. The campaign encourages the powerful dialogue needed to humanize the LGBTQ+ community as multifaceted individuals with experiences that celebrate otherness.
Later that Friday night, HBO x Everyday People hosted an exclusive late night party at the Ace Hotel just after things were finishing up at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Guests danced the night away to the sounds of EP’s DJ Moma while light bites and speciality cocktails were being served. It was definitely a night to remember!

The conversation was moderated by The Read’s Crissle West.
Following the brunch, HBO also hosted A Black Lady Sketch Show Screening, Panel, and Mixer where the stars of A Black Lady Sketch Show – Robin Thede (Creator), Quinta Brunson, Ashley Nicole Black, and Gabrielle Dennis – sat down to discuss the need for A Black Lady Sketch Show, the process of its creation, and what to expect this season.
