Last Night In NYC: Elle Varner & more Perform at SOB’s ‘Summer Splash Concert Cruise’

On this past Friday (August 30th), NYC’s Hudson River was on tilt, as some of NY’s finest music acts performed for the ‘Summer Splash Concert Cruise’ on the Hornblower Infinity dining cruise ship held by the legendary music haven, SOB’s.

The host for the evening, LowKey of took the stage and kept the crowd moving, as he introduced the featured talent of the night.

It was an MBK Entertainemnt-filled (Alicia Keys, K. Michelle & more) night as talent from the famed label took the stage. First up, was Anthony Hall performing a few acoustic tunes from his current collage of hits. He is definitely someone to keep your ears and eyes out for!

Next up, was MBK’s latest gospel group sensation, LIVRE! The vibrant group blazed the stage vocalizing their current Billboard chart-topping hit “I Will Be Alright”, also “The Only God” and more. Stage presence is not even a factor when it comes to this group – their simply amazing!

To help keep the good music spirits flowing, was singer-songwriter and also Billboard chart-topping artist, Shaliek Rivers (Pendulum Records) wowed the crowd with his soulful tunes; while singing his massive hit song “The Past”, which owns the #14 spot on Urban AC Radio/Airplay at this very moment – gaining on other artists like Justin Timberlake, Ron Isley, Fantasia, Tamela Mann and more. Congrats Shaliek!

Last but not least, the beautiful Elle Varner filled her headlining spot for the night and she did not disappoint! Singing a plethora of her new and old hits, the singer gave her #1 fans just what they needed for the night. It was a site to see! We have been following Elle from day one, and we’re happy to see her blossoming into the superstar that she is today!
