On August 26th, 2013 THE FADER Magazine & vitaminwater continued another round of an #Uncapped summer; six shows all happening in unique spots in New York with headlining Multi- Platinum Artist; JoJo.

JoJo celebrated the 4th, pop-up performance of the summer series, for THE FADER & vitaminwater. The event, which doubled as JoJo’s first performance in New York since last fall, took place at a walk-up duplex in the West Village.

A packed house of fans, executives, press and tastemakers including R&B Sensation; Ro James, Model; Willie Cartier, Hip-Hop duo (also Rap Legend Doug E. Fresh’s sons) Trips N Slim, Media Maven; Karen Civil and Label Executive, Sylvia Rhone witnessed as JoJo opened up with “We Get By” from her EP “AGAPE” , to hit singles, “A Little Too Late”, “Demonstrate” and a cover of “Sweetest Taboo” from Multi-Platinum artist:Sade.

JoJo’s four-piece band and two backup singers joined her onstage, as she brought in quite the team to perform a new version of her hit “Anything:”  Special guest Casey Veggies, the Los Angeles #uncapped veteran and 17-year old Guitarist and Singer Francesco. He controlled the crowd with his guitar, who earlier came on to perform his cover of Frank Ocean’s “Swimming Pools” as JoJo rapped along.

Overwhelmed by the crowd’s support, JoJo ended her performance by thanking everyone for coming out as well as her fans for sticking with her through through everything. The pint size performer then did a Q&A with on-air personality and Hip-Hop curator Miss Info, as fans stuck around to get a final glimpse of the aura of Joanna “JoJo” Levesque.

Music for the night was provided by producer, music connoisseur and Dj; 9th Wondervitaminwater sponsored the event, produced in conjunction with THE FADER.
