Recap: SMIRNOFF’s Master of the Mix: Episode 7; ‘Invent or Get Sent’…

On this weeks episode of Smirnoff’s Master’s Of The Mix, The DJs were thrown for a loop when they were pitted against each other in a particularly challenging and inventive set request. The DJ’s had to incorporate a new inventive way of DJ’ing that was new and creative. The judges also stirred things up even more when they made a surprising announcement about an eliminated contestant…

The judges decided to bring back last week’s eliminated contestant, DJ Tina back to challenge one of the current DJ’s for a spot back in the competition. She chose to battle DJ Fly Guy! Unfortunately for her, he stepped up to the challenge and was victorious, sending Tina home yet AGAIN!

However, The Gods were not completely on FJ Fly Guy’s side and after an intense battle round, the competition said goodbye to the Miami DJ who had actually been struggling with the last few challenges, most notably the one repping his own city.

*Bye Fly Guy*

Krunk King, Lil John was this weeks special guest judge, and with his background in DJ’ing he gave some Krunk critiques and was pretty entertaining!

Our favorite DJ, DJ Loczi is still in it to win it and  showed and proved on the turntables!

Next week on Master of the Mix the top five DJs hit the turntables competing to become one step closer to a quarter of a million dollars.  In the challenge, the DJs must spin the same set of 10 songs across musical genres and styles. Can they really mix it up? Watch the trailer here!

Stay Tuned!

Smirnoff’s Master’s Of The Mix airs Monday’s at Midnight on VH1.
