T.I., B.o.B and Kendrick Lamar link up on “Memories Back Then” and reflect on past relationships early in their lives and career and how good they were.  The visual features actors who portray the rapper in their younger years except for Kendrick who opted to play himself. The beautiful Kris Stephens takes care of the songs background vocals and chorus and compliments the song very well. “Memories Back Then” was supposed to be featured on T.I.’s “Trouble Man” album but due to sample clearances couldn’t make the cut. The song will now live on Hustle Gang Presents G.D.O.D. (Ge t Dough or Die) compilation album. It’s rare you get a dope song with a concept it has become sort of an lost art in the hip-hop community. Each rapper handled their own respectively on the track no struggle was present.  Step into the “Memories Back Then” visual below.
