Welp, Music executive Andre Harrell (and his glasses) wasn’t really pleased with the Whitney Houston tribute done at the 2012 Divas Live concert this past weekend.

Both, Jordin Sparks and Melanie Fiona (who both have amazing voices, especially Fiona, No Shadeeeee Jordin) were tapped to perform in the Whitney Houston tribute. Now, while the performances weren’t uber amazing, they were good. But Andre Harrell thought they were bad news and said neither one of the singers could perform a Whitney Houston song.

Here’s the thing, Whitney will never be replaced and it’s hard for anyone to hold a torch to her. So no tribute will ever really be good enough. We think Brandy & Monica did a wonderful job a few months back, and it should be left at that. She’s on that list now, in order to a great tribute, you have to bring out the big guns!

If you remember earlier this year, Rapstress, Nicki Minaj and DJ FunkMasterFlex were not real pleased with each other. The two were literally at each other’s throats due to some events surrounding this year’s Summer Jam 2012.

reminisce Here.

So you’ll understand my confusion when I received the above invite to a Christmas Extravaganza hosted by them both.
