Actor Denzel Washington covers the October 2012 issue of GQ Magazine, looking dapper as usual! Rocking a double-breasted suit, two-time Oscar winner and box-office giant talked about his first jobs, how his father influenced him, and why he won’t question his mojo. Peep more pics below…

Is there an actor who has influenced you?

There’s a scene in The Godfather II. De Niro’s in a theater. And he’s looking back. It’s just a look. I don’t think I’ve ever imitated another actor, but there’s nothing wrong with learning from them.

Do you have any code you live by?

I read from the Bible every day, and I read my Daily Word. I read something great yesterday. It said, “Don’t aspire to make a living. Aspire to make a difference.”

When the Denzel biopic is made, what would an actor need to have in his performance to make you say, “He got me”?

That suggests I know what it is, and I don’t want to know what it is. That’s part of the mystery. It is what it is. I don’t go, “I gotta make sure I put some of that Denzel Washington-ism in the movie.” I don’t want tricks. I don’t want to lose my mojo.

Noted as one of the greatest roundtables of all-time, Oprah Winfrey was amongst the few that were chosen to today’s current issue of Forbes Magazine entitled The Forbes 400 Summit.

Exactly 30 years ago Malcolm Forbes’ most enduring brainchild–a ranking of the richest people in America–came to fruition. The Forbes 400 proved a phenomenon as soon as it launched. Three decades later it’s an American icon. Each of the 400 stories testifies to the American Dream. When measured together, they serve as an annual marker for the dynamism of free enterprise.

For this 30th Anniversary Issue, we decided to raise the bar : Rather than congregate only on the printed page, what if we actually summoned the 400 to come together in person? Specifically, what if the most financially successful people in America, leveraging their resources and the results-driven mind-set that created that success, tried to solve the world’s most intractable problems? To literally change the world?

So on June 26, 161 billionaires and near-billionaires gathered at the New York Public Library for The Forbes 400 Summit on Philanthropy, the greatest-ever meeting of its kind. Oprah Winfrey kicked off the day, and Warren Buffett and Bill Gates also gave keynote talks. Melinda Gates, Diane Von Furstenberg and Jacqueline Novogratz headlined a panel about giving to women and girls. Marc Andreessen, Marc Benioff and Jim Breyer talked about using tech-driven metrics to improve philanthropic efficacy. Jon Bon Jovi chatted with Steve Forbes about using fame as a force for good.
