Spoken word was alive and well last night in NYC at the Rugby Poetry Event. We heard so many jewels dropped, we could hardly snap our fingers fast enough! The energy was undeniably positive and did we mention how fly the poets looked?
It was an immense pleasure that we were able to build amongst such talents as Jasmine Mans; best known for her poem ‘Nicki Minaj.”
And The Striver’s Row’s very own Joshua Bennett who was hand-picked to recite his work at President Obama’s “Evening of Poetry and Music.”
We left full and satisfied from our literal feast.
