Last night in NYC, Team SFPL were invited to join Toni Braxton, and her fab sisters Traci, Towanda, Trina, and Tamar and mom Evelyn, as they continued their NYC media tour on the eve of the premiere of their WE tv reality show BRAXTON FAMILY VALUES at a swank press dinner at Pranna in NYC.
The ladies were candid and personable, and didn’t mind any of the questions the press in the room asked them. Even the hard hitting ones. Besides SFPL there were representatives from outlets such as Necole Bitchie, NBC, Essence Magazine, Ebony Magazine, Bleu Magazine, Jones Magazine, Music Choice and Sister 2 Sister just to name a few.
About The Show
Toni was extremely candid both on the show and in person about her health issues including her bout with Lupus for the last three years, Filling for Bankruptcy and her extreme reservations about doing this Reality Show. We are glad she did, because the results are Real Reality Television. The Braxtons bring to the table and the screen what any other family before them have failed to bring, Love. When the stories unfold you get that as most families do, they fight, but at the very core they have a genuine love for one that surpasses any disagreement. There’s no weave pulling, back stabbing, and man- stealing poppin off here. These women have class. They are far from perfect, but they are leading a perfect example for some of the bitter reality Shows we love so much.
And I got all that from one episode.
