Jones Magazine (www.jonesmag.com), the premiere fashion and lifestyle glossy targeting multicultural women, releases its Best in Beauty spring issue, paying homage to 200+ exceptional beauty products hand selected by its team of beauty experts. Helping to add new dimension to Jones’ coverage and shape the latest issue is newly appointed Beauty Editor, Felicia Walker Benson.
The issue’s cover model, Yasmine Warsame takes center stage in the issue’s fashion spread.
The special issue marks the magazine’s first Best in Beauty Awards [‘Best in Beauty’, pg.16], where thousands of products from mass, boutique and luxury brands were submitted, tried, tested and rated. Everything from mousses, lotions, anti-aging treatments and lip glosses were sampled, results measured and rated on the basis of efficacy, wearability, advancement, enjoyment of usage and a host of other criterion.
“The idea behind BIB awards list was to cut through the overblown promises, sales pitches, complicated ingredient lists and deliver a highly edited list of products that deliver on their promises,” explains Editor in Chief, Tracey Ferguson.
