DGE Management x Stuff Fly People Like hosted ‘The Revival of R&B’ to celebrate the release of Michael T. Brook’s debut album This Is How I Feel. On Thursday, November 18, 2010 a number of New York’s finest tastemakers, socialites, journalists and the like gathered at the Wix Lounge here in New York. They enjoyed complimentary drinks, networking with industry peers and colleagues, meeting with Michael T. Brooks and a live performance.
DGE Management was elated to showcase the fresh and soulful sound by Michael T. Brooks. Brooks who is a native and resident of Florida is coming to New York City with a message, “This Is How I Feel.” Brooks began singing at the age of 12 in his father’s church. Having a strong foundation in Gospel music, he began to stretch his wings in the music industry which led him to discover his niche in Pop, Soul, and R&B. To date, Brooks has performed over 75 shows and established popularity at many clubs, colleges, and universities across the state of Florida to include: Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU) and Bethune-Cookman College. Brooks has toured with Jive Recording Artist, Haitian Fresh, and recently opened up for SoBe Entertainment artist, Urban Mystic. Founder and President of DGE Management, Dennis Gonzalez, says “Michael is a great talent still growing and developing; the sky is the limit for him.
