A major Congrats to Angel and the Team over at Concreteloop for 5 years of Great blogging. We were honored to be invited, and have been fans of the blog since we found it about 3 years ago. We would have never imagined brushing shoulders with our favorite bloggers years later. Thursday night SFPL was front row and center at the 5th year anniversary, the star studded event was held at Hiro Ballroom, and was attended by Dawn (Dirty Money), Terrence J (106 and Park), Goapele, Keri Hilson (who both performed) Wynter Gordon, Jim Jones, Necole Bitchie, AJ Crimson, MTV’s Sway, and Olivia just to name a few. We were in the building and SFPL Intern/Assistant Sean was on hand to report the festivities.
‘Goapele performed two songs from her new album “Milk and Honey” titled “Right Here” and “Tears On My Pillow”. The crowd went wild from start to finish, and when she performed her classic song “Closer”(To My Dreams) the noise from the crowd was too much to contain!!! Goapele had on a studded black jacket that ended at her hips, billowed white top, waist-high charcoal jeans, and stilettos that were envied by party goers.
A few moments later, Keri Hilson was brought to the stage by her dancers, and the party goers were loving her look, and her new sound. She performed her new song “Pretty Girl Rock” from her new album “No Boys Allowed” and the crowd was doing their Pretty Girl Rock dances too! Keri had on a leopard print inspired motorcycle jacket, a sheer lace shirt (that didn’t expose too much) jet black jeans, and stilettos that left some in awe.’ -Sean
