SFPL’s Designer Spotlight: EDIT

Edit was born out of necessity. Men and women need to feel good about themselves and what better way than something hot on your neck or wrist. Co-owners Deborah Padila and Ken Marcelle started Edit in March of 2010, selling small collections to a quickly formed clientele and now have gone international with an online-boutique.

For them, it’s about choosing statement-making pieces that translate into a pop to your wardrobe. Jewelry is fun and they try to keep it just that. With pieces like: a cougar head cuff made of stern silver, two finger rings and rhinestone bracelets that many stars are trending, Edit stays on and above the fray in what’s in and next for jewelry.

Deborah and Ken are both apart of the art communtiy and they do loan pieces for “Edit[orials]”, as they call it. Photogs, stylists and other creatives can borrow pieces for their photo shoots and events for a fair price. “Life is short. We might as well look good, while we’re here. Make your statement.”
