LOVE IT!!!!!!
Very cinematic. A good look for Alicia! Yessss!
I loved everything about it… except for her dramatic ass arm situation in the end in the solo shot. I really could have dealt without it.

I love the video…I think they took part of the concept (or one of the scenes) from a movie which starred Zoe Saldana and Orlando Bloom, who in the movie were in a interracial relationship, and Saldana’s brother played by Anthony Mackie, highly disapproved of the video.
I am so happy that Alicia didn’t follow the wack trend of rolling on the floor in a bathing suit! I was just commenting to a friend on how videos today lack MAJOR creativity! This video is awesome in so many ways! It challenges what I originally imagined the song to be about, and took it somewhere that makes people think. It would have been easy to show a woman getting ready to lay it down with her beau- but instead it challenged social norms, and questioned if we are ready as a society to jump out the box! GO ALICIA! For showing that beauty isn’t always being half naked, and that an artist should be both clever and creative. The video sold the song- not her ass….and thats so necessary these days.
Her dress is from French Connection…she is a smart diva on a budget I suppose…
