We’ve watched it grow from disco and funk music, survive the crack era, educate with conscious rap, go commercial and make tons of money, create moguls and create job opportunities, touch millions across the globe, and we still have a ways to go. We’ve won some, we’ve lost some, but we’re still here to talk about it.
Roc4Life is celebrating Hip-Hop with some of its pioneering family members that jump-started the movement before it left the block parties and the underground circuit. In this clip we’re talking to Ralph McDaniels of Video Music Box. He’s shedding light on today’s music and commentating on influence the culture has on the world.
