I MEAN, REALLY?

spikevstyler

So While Spike Lee voices his feelings of Coonery and Bafoonery towards the work of Tyler Perry a REAL Epidemic is Upon us.

I say REAL because every man is entitled to his own opinion, but it is YOUR opinion. I’m not the Biggest fan of the Medea Movement but Tyler has made some Great Movies, as there is quite an absence of African American Film Directors in Hollywood. This man has his OWN Studios and writes, directs and produces his own Movies. Applaud that Man, period. You don’t have to like the Movies. If it’s that deep, go make a few…

What you CAN’T IGNORE, is the FOOLISHNESS after the jump…

THIS IS WHAT WE SHOULD BE UPSET ABOUT!

These little dust bunnies need an INTERVENTION!

Direct that energy and go and document THIS!

((smh))

Just WWWHHHHHYYYY?????

  1. At the end of the day, Spike Lee is still considered a legend at what he does, and Tyler still has ways to go. This was a case of being brutally honest.

  2. What the f–k are these kids doing?! A better question who the hell was recording these young girls and convinced them that this is a good idea? Is there nothing better to do besides popping your booty on someone’s final resting place?? We’ve got to do better. SMH.

  3. Hmm, I’m gonna assume this is New Orleans, cuz of the above ground crypts and the bounce music. This is tragic. No respect for the dead, I’m sure they have no respect for the living either…SMH

  4. Have ur opinion, but talk about how he doesn’t need hollywoods help to do his films!!!!

those girls should be haunted for the rest of their lives!

  5. There is so much wrong with that video that I can’t even properly articulate what I want to say. I am embarrassed for them.

And While I am not a huge fan of the Madea movement either, you cannot knock that man’s hussle. Spike, first you tried to sue the SPIKE channel and now this. You need to take your own advice and DO THE RIGHT THING which is show & prove…go make a film. Boo.

  6. Spike Lee definitely has a point, the characters in Perry’s movies tend to be one-dimensional and I’m not really into them myself. I do think that his criticism may be due to the fact that Perry is creating a large fan base right now and making millions off his work, and while Spike is a legend he hasn’t done that in a while. We should definitely lift each other up, not beat one another down.

  7. I’m with Spike. It doesn’t matter how much money you make or how you make it (on your own without Hollywood’s help) what matters is the message and the content of your films. Tyler Perry’s work is a bunch of buffoonery much like the New Millennium Minstrel Show (a la Bamboozled).

And those little girl’s need some good ol’ fashion discipline.

  8. OMG!!! and the niggerishness continues….
Love Spike and love Tyler. Tyler’s movies always have a underlying theme (family, relationships, spirituality…) and the issues presented in those movies have resolutions at the end. I enjoy movies by Lee Daniels also…everyone has their niche and Tyler found his…Spike has his….Lee has his….Singleton has his. There is room for everyone to share their points of view.

  9. Spike tried to sue Spike TV? Then again, Diamond Dallas Page tried to sue Rocafella over the Roc sign, and Triple H with Game. All three are 0 for 3.

  10. Yes, I think this is New Orleans. There’s this “youtube celebrity” named Sissy Noby who likes to drop it like it’s hot, and he has his little back up dancers as well. I think this tomfoolery is one of his videos. So sad and disrespectful to the dead!

  11. O M G!!! These Fools in the cemetary need a serious foot in the ass!
I’m agree with Nickie Luve tho. Tyler has definitely found his Niche. His movies maybe one dimesional to some, but he has garnered support from the black community! Giving us something that has been lacking in Hollywood for awhile, and he does it with consistency. The dude saw an opportunity and blew it out the water! You can’t be mad at the man for that! Especially when the message in his movies is about self empowerment and over coming obstacles! You don’t have to like the man or his movies. But he deserves every ounce of credit he gets!
