I mean really?

We were all thinking it.

That Single Ladies Video was definitely the best video of the Year. Hands down.

However,

There’s a certain way you go about doing it.

Voice it from your seat, jump up and down, write a song about it- don’t jump on a stage and interrupt some body’s acceptance speech. No Bueno.

Both Notorious for Outburst! Are we really surprised?

Interruptions at the VMAs are common place. Is it an extreme big deal, no. It’s kinda what they do. The joke always ends up on someone.

Taylor was last night’s victim.

Doesn’t make it right, but it kinda makes sense.

    Kanye’s actions were classic Kanye. Ignorant, arrogant, thoughtless, selfish…the list goes on. He and his “big ego” have been allowed to run rampany for quite sometime and this time a poor teenaged girl was publicly humiliated in front of millions of people worldwide.

    And I didn’t think that there was anything spectacular about the Single Ladies video. It was catchy but so was Soulja Boys Crank That. In my opinion Lady GaGa should have won.

    Beyonce said the only award she cared about was video of the year (which she won)…what Kanye did was ridiculous..she didn’t even expect to win, he had no right to ruin her moment

    Why does he think his opinion matters THAT much that he can just rush the stage (he did that last yr too, when he didn’t win) interrupt ppl on stage, so he can let it be known he doesn’t agree w/ the voters?!

    He has no right to be humiliating ppl like that, and ruin there moment. Straight DISRESPECTFUL!!!!

    I’m glad Beyonce’ at least had the decency to apologize and let Taylor come back on stage and give her speech!

    That bottle and his most recent choices (girlfriend, music, behavior, etc.) is a definite sign that he needs some serious help.
    Ever since his mother died, he has been off the deep end. I swear he’s a hop, skip and a jump away from some worse incidents than this.

    Well…. I am probably one of the biggest Kanye fans out here. I was in total, shock, amazement, disappointment, disgust…. etc., etc., at Mr. West last night. Though I agreed 100% that Beyonce earned that award (How do you win Video of the Year, and not win Best Female Video of the Year ), there is always a way, a time, and a place for everything. I hate to say it, and I pray that I’m wrong but Kanye is trying to self distruct. He is THE reluctant celebrity who has accomplished most of, if not all, the accomplishments any artist can ask for. I still think that Kanye is one of the greatest artist of our generation. He has yet to realize that when you act on emotion (um, and ALCOHOL ) the results are bad almost everytime. I love you Kanye, you are smarter than the average, but you’ve got to do better BRO. Apologies only go so far when you have to keep making them.

    Will everyone get over this incident? Taylor received that award to everyones dismay. I hate when ppl try and act brand new. We all were thinking she did not deserve video of the year. Esp. with that being the first award presented for the night, to see someone who did not deseve that award, win. I know I was thinking. This show is about to be pure fuckery. Which is probably what Kanye thought in his head, and was trying to change the energy by professing THAT WAS PURE BULLSHIT!!

    I mean to have this man on Jay Leno apologizing about a freaking award, COME ON!! Where is the man that called President Obama a liar, during his speech? Why is he not being publicly ridiculed. Y has his story been brushed under the rug. Please ppl. What Kanye said was the TRUTH. Not the best presentation but the truth, nonetheless.

    Stop hating on this man, he was and is still an essential part of HIP HOP. He did a dumb move, GET over it.
