Not much was initially revealed in our first look at the reboot of The Predator. Today we get a new trailer that gives us an even better idea as to what we can expect from the camouflage hunting alien we first met back in 1987.

Directed and written by Shane Black who starred in the original film, the second trailer opens up with Sterling K.Brown’s character stating his job is in acquisitions and saying “I look up and I catch what falls out of the sky.” Well, based on what is shown in this new trailer we are sure he would love to send this catch right back where it came from.

In the new trailer, we see the government has gotten their hands on some Predator tech and a survivor from a crashed spaceship. That turns out to be a big mistake when that captured Predator easily takes out his captors and escapes, but we soon learn that he is not the one they should be worried about. We are introduced to the Ultimate Predator who is a direct result of the hunting alien species upgrading themselves with the DNA of their hunted prey. He’s not just hunting humans either but his own kind as we see clearly in the trailer.

Here’s how the studio breaks down the movie: “Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.”
