Critically-acclaimed singer/songwriter, Adrian Marcel releases his debut album, GMFU (Got Me F*cked Up). The 16-track project is the executive produced by Grammy Awarding winning musician/producer, Raphael Saadiq who recently co-produced Solange‘s “Cranes In The Sky” (which won the Grammy this year for Best R&B Performance).

Marcel perfectly blends a mix of old-school soul with the current sound of R&B to create a project that is sonically tantalizing. The LP also bolsters production from No I.D. (Jay Z, Kanye West), Deputy (Rihanna, J. Cole) and Raphael himself along with a guest appearance from hip-hop legend, Too Short! Since breaking onto the scene in 2014 with his hit single, “2 AM”, Adrian has received the acclaim of various outlets including The FADER, Complex, Entertainment Weekly, Stuff Fly People Like, VIBE and Interview to name a few.

A native of Oakland, CA, Adrian got his start singing in local talent shows, even attending the local performing arts high school. He would eventually go on to catch the attention of fellow Oakland native, Saadiq and the rest would become musical history!
