Introducing a new soundscape to the spectrum on LaDonnis’ upcoming album A Sunny Place for Shady People, the artist drops his new trippy visual for the song “Hallelujah.”
Produced by Alex Goose, Playa Haze, Two Fresh, and Deffie; LaDonnis brings forth his appetite for sin and asks for repentance on this bass heavy anthem. The video was shot entirely at a notorious haunted mansion in Los Angeles and finds the young rapper in some spine-chilling, ghostly predicaments.
“I wrote Hallelujah last winter after coming off of a really bad break up. The beat leads me to the moment where everything kind of clicked and I was just completely over the situation and knew that I’d be fine without this person in my life anymore. I think everyone who gets out of a toxic situation looks forward to the moment where they are free from the chaos. Hallelujah.”
His project will release at the end of March and feature production from Two Fresh Beats, Mr. Carmack, Alex Goose, and Stefan Ponce.
