Rising UK songstress RAY BLK has released her debut EP Durt. The project features her buzzed-about single “My Hood” featuring Stromzy.

The R&B singer/songwriter has been building quite a name for herself in the UK, and is about to take the US by storm. After releasing a steady stream of singles, she’s received unanimous acclaim across the Atlantic from Dazed to Wonderland, The Guardian, BBC Radio 1 and more. She just made her worldwide television debut on BBC‘s Jools Holland–the 4th unsigned artist EVER to perform on the show.

She’s been pinpointed by the likes of The FADER, Nylon, Complex, Hypebeast, the home team here at Stuff Fly People Like and more as one of the top UK artists to look out for going into next year. Citing Lauryn Hill, Amy Winehouse, Biggie Smalls and Lil Kim as her inspirations, RAY’s music is soulful with a hip hop edge. She delivers the brash honesty of rap while being able to blend it with soul and R&B spirit.
