John Legend is prepping for the release of his forthcoming fifth album by teasing his new single “Love Me Now.”

The R&B crooner took to Instagram to reveal the cover art and share a snippet of the new record set to debut Thursday evening on Facebook Live.

An emotional love song clearly inspired by his supermodel wife Chrissy Teigen, who’s featured on the steamy single artwork alongside Legend; he sings,

“I don’t know who’s gonna kiss you when I’m gone / So I’m gonna love you now like it’s all I have / I know it’ll kill me when it’s over / I don’t want to think about it / I want you to love me now”

“Love Me Now,” hits digital retailers Friday and is the lead single off Legend’s follow-up to 2013’s Love in the Future.

This weekend, John will be returning to his hometown of Springfield, Ohio for a hero’s welcome at his alma mater Springfield High School. The “All Of Me” singer will attend and perform at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Oct. 9, for the high school’s new $2.5 million theater of which he helped raise $500,000.

Kim Fish of the local school board shared this about John’s involvement in the fruition of the 10-year project for the theater that will also bear his name,

“John was really a catalyst to get something that we all wanted to do finally done.”

Tune in to Facebook Live tomorrow at 10:30 pm. for the premiere of Legend’s new track “Love Me Now.”
