There’s nothing better than when two fierce women combine their forces. Working within that theme, Rihanna jumped on Instagram to thank Jennifer Lopez for wearing shoes she designed with Manolo Blahnik.
“She wore “The 9-5″ in a video!!!,” Rihanna, 28, said. “Mayyyyjorrr!!! Yaasssss @jlo! Thanks for the support! I’m having such a fuckin moment knowing that forever I have proof of a bad one like you in my designs!!! #RIHANNAxMANOLO #The9-5 @manoloblahnikhq #AintYoMamavideo”
Lopez rocks the boots in a dance scene from her “Ain’t Yo Mama” video that’s all about feminism and empowerment. The thigh-high “9 to 5” denim boots retail for $4,350 and can be found at ManoloBlahnik.com.
In other Rihanna news, the singer shared that ANTI is the first album of 2016 to be certified double platinum by the RIAA Gold & Platinum Awards and “Work” went triple platinum. She’s currently on her Anti World Tour with Travis Scott and Big Sean joining her for the European dates.
But collaborating with the iconic shoe designer isn’t the only extra gig she’s working. RiRi has a fashion line with Puma and an upcoming beauty line with LVMH. “Fenty Beauty by Rihanna is a beauty rocket ship that will appeal to a huge and diverse global audience,” said David Suliteanu, CEO the Kendo division of LVMH. “We are aiming for the stars.”
Fans are looking forward to seeing everything Rihanna debuts this year. And hopefully, she can handle all the projects she’s juggling.
