Netflix has been teasing fans over the past few months with mini trailers for new series Fuller House and today the entertainment brand has finally released the full length trailer.
The Netflix revival of the beloved 90’s series Full House follows D.J. Fuller (née Tanner) as she struggles to raise her three boys after her husband’s untimely death. Enter D.J.’s sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and her best friend Kimmy (Andrea Barber) who move in with the Fuller family to lend a hand.
Fans of the original get to see the return of John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Lori Loughlin, and Bob Saget reprising their roles though their appearances become more infrequent after the first episode.
Producer Jeff Franklin briefly elaborated on their focus for Fuller House at a press stop saying,
“As the show goes along, it’s great to have the guys and Aunt Becky come through now and then, because it’s family; but this is a show that’s centered around [D.J., Stephanie and Kimmy].”
Focusing on the Tanner girls minus Michelle was a great move by Netflix. They get to tug at our heart strings with nostalgia while getting to create something new. We’ll just have to wait and see if they can pull it off. Check out the full length trailer below. Fuller House will be available on Netflix February 26th.
