Watch: J. Cole’s “This Is What You Wanted” Episode 3 of Road To Homecoming

The third episode of J. Cole’s Road To Homecoming mini-documentary series debuted recently. Fans can head over to HBO or Vimeo to check out this week’s installment titled “This Is What You Wanted.”

In this episode, we find J. Cole continuing his Dollar & a Dream tour. A tradition that began three years ago, Cole only charges fans a dollar per ticket; attracting thousands to wait in line for entry. Cole and his team take us behind the scenes revealing the stresses of booking a venue, along with the pressures of having fans stick it out in the face of hostile cops and terrible weather conditions; all for a coveted spot.

Wale and Kendrick Lamar join Cole on stage and we see A$AP Ferg and Rihanna make appearances as well. Rih had this to share about the Fayetteville rappers performance before offering Cole some tips on hair maintenance,

“Very deep but real, honest, vulnerable, confident — it was all of that.”

You can watch how episode 3 unfolds below. If you missed episode 1 and 2 of Cole’s ‘Road To Homecoming’ series you can also check them out below. J. Cole’s Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming special airs Saturday, Jan. 9, on HBO.
