Ghost leaves and meets up with Tommy for a business dinner, all is well until Holly pops up and Ghost gives her a look that could kill. Tommy steps away from the table and that’s when Ghost gets in that ass and tells her if she doesn’t leave town he will kill her. Holly agrees to meet Ghost at Truth to pick up the cash and the train ticket. Tommy returns and Ghost decides to cut out so his boy can spend his last precious few hours with Holly or so he thought.
The kiss on the cheek though was priceless! Great touch Power writers for that.
Dre pays a visit to Ruiz’s gym, he instantly requests that Ruiz starts speaking English, Ruiz responds “you should learn el Spanish. You’re going to need it in a few years. This is our country now.”
Ruiz brings out the gentleman that got shot during the hit on the Serbs and that Dre saved. He expresses his gratitude to Dre. Ruiz on the other is clearly up to something, informs him that there was meeting that day and he wasn’t invited to it. He also lets Dre know that if there is anything that he needed he got it and that favor was only extended to him not Kanan. Hmmmmmm…
Holly is at it again tearing up Tommy’s house desperately trying to find the gun in a last-ditch effort.
She is again interrupted by Tommy who this time around is bearing a gift for Holly in the form of his grandmothers ring.
Holly immediately asks “did you steal it?” the nerve of her.
Tommy replied to her “no I’m not you”
We got a good laugh out of that. Holly is clearly taken back by the gesture and asks if it’s an engagement ring. Tommy quickly shuts the notion down but says it lets people know that she is his. The clock is ticking for Holly and she hasn’t found the gun Angela is looking for.
Back at the St.Patrick’s residence Tasha and Shawn are having a moment, Tasha’s mama is there and she is not here for it. Once Shawn leaves, mother and daughter have a bit of conversation about whats going on. She asks if things are getting better between Tasha and Ghost? Tasha’s mom suggests that maybe Tasha should give Ghost another chance.
Tasha is shocked at the revelation, Tasha mom’s also points out that Tasha isn’t going to find another man like Ghost. She continues to warn Tasha about the consequences of pushing Ghost into the arms of another woman. She tells Tasha “you have no idea whats it like being a single mother, and that boy you playing with ain’t gonna help you either”
Oh the read continued “maybe he can rotate your tires, but he ain’t gon help your raise these kids” . Tasha heard enough and took a verbal jab at her momma. That was a big mistake…
Oh Tasha learned today, don’t ever try her mama EVER! Tasha then asks if her mama still believes she is gonna stay at her house after she slapped her. She gracefully replies… Yes I Do!
Meanwhile it’s 10PM… Do you know where your federal witness is?
Angela is stressing and getting frantic texting Holly but… No reply, someone else is also waiting for Holly as well.
She is also late to meet with Ghost at Truth so he can send her packing. Maybe she dipped on the both of them, wait nope she shows up at Truth to pick up the cash and the train ticket. Ghost is a man of his word and drops Holly off at the train station.
In a scene that looks like something straight out of MTV show Holly stands in the middle of terminal looking at her promise ring. She switches the ring to her ring finger turning her promise ring into an engagement ring. The smile on her face looks as if she has an idea. Is she going to leave? Or Nah?
Jamie thinking he’s got a victory with by getting rid of Holly heads over to Truth to talk to his new boss Kantos. Jamie fills him up with truth serum aka alcohol and gets Kantos to drop some nuggets on Stern about his divorce (we saw that coming) and the relocation of his assets. The gossip session is interrupted by a phone call from a clearly stressed Angela who has to cancel on Jamie.
Angela is stressed, her witness is gone, her case is crumbling and her D supplier might be the biggest drug dealer in the city. She suggests that her and Jamie should take a break till the Tommy situation blows over, Ghost disagrees and is adamant that they work through it.
Ghost is on a phone call with Tommy while he is driving ad the topic is about the Serbs. At the conclusion of the call Ghost rear ends a jeep.
We catch back up with Angela and Greg, the bossman Mike comes in with the news that he feels it’s time to move in on Tommy. He also shares that the precinct has called in and that they have Ghost in custody, Angela jumps up and volunteers to go and assess the situation.
The look on Greg’s face is PRICELESS when Mike agrees.
Things are about to get interesting to say the least.
