The Daily Word: Is Nicki Minaj Addressing Safaree On New Song “Bed of Lies” Ft. Skylar Grey ?

Nicki Minaj recently released a lyric video for her new single “Only” Featuring Lil Wayne, Drake and Chris Brown. The animated clip is drawing a lot of criticism due to the fact it has some similarities to Hitler’s Nazi regime. Nicki Minaj swiftly responded to the claims of “Nazism” in her lyric video via her twitter account today.

*Beanz speaking* To her defense, I watch “Metalocalypse” and the video is very similar to the show. It’s a very dark adult cartoon with some very mature themes, BUT I can see where people will draw similarities to Nazism from it. We don’t think Nicki and her creative team were drawing inspiration from a dark time in our past at all.

The video has already generated over 2 million views, we would be shocked if she decided to take it down. If she decided to, it would be a good move just to appease critics.

Do you guys think the video is doing too much? Should she take it down? Sound off below.
