The highly anticipated debut single from the R&B/Pop trio Rawyals has just released to the masses on today via Massenburg Media. Rawyals’ presence is here to fills the alleged void within the industry. The girls came of age during the heyday of 90s R&B; when girl groups reigned supreme.

50 Cent says of Rawyals:

“There is a clear lane in music being left wide open. These ladies are prepared to fill it. Call it, crazy, sexy, cool or destiny but they are the new wave.”

But, Ariel Nicholson, Bel Cabrera and Asia Shabazz are a result of today’s fast paced instant world. They hail from both coasts – New York, Washington State and Los Angeles – and their music resume is impressive. They’ve worked with respected musical mentors such as Stevie Mackey, Lydia Mouton, Arturo Spinetti and Craig Derry. As a result, their tones blend effortlessly. Asia’s sultry vocals unite with Bel’s soulful timbre and Ariel’s classically trained register to create a truly dynamic and unforgettable sound.

The group is the brainchild of music mogul, Kedar Massenburg (D’Angelo/India Arie/Erykah Badu). Having handpicked each girl—carefully developing them under his imprint, Massenburg Media—there is an intense mutual respect between the industry veteran and his latest find.

Kedar says:

“If there is one thing that I have mastered, it is the ability spot talent. This group will be a force to be reckoned with now and for years to come.”

Massenburg’s belief in the group is a tall honor. He is a trendsetter whose reputation for breaking new artists borders on groundbreaking.

Rawyals is currently working on their EP titled In The Raw out digitally on June 30th, 2015. The EP features exciting guest features Wale, Troy Ave, Remy Ma, rapper Fetty Wap, the creator of the massive hit of the summer “Trap Queen” and introducing fellow Massenburg Media artist Tayo.
