Mama Tina hit the set of Entertainment Tonight recently to talk about Solange’s wedding last week and to share her favorite part of the day, and how Beyoncé saved it.

Yesterday, I had the best day of my life and ended it with an abundance of peace, love over flowing through me like never before. Words only understate the feelings I experienced , but I want to thank you for all of your beautiful sentiments. I’m now one, with the one.

The Word: Solange Knowles Breaks The Internets With Class (Not Ass :)…

Every bride’s worst nightmare is to have an allergic reaction to the food at the reception. This is exactly what happened to Solange when she broke out in hives as she stomped through the streets of New Orleans with her new husband.

“Solange went through the wedding and the sit-down dinner and she was just fine, and then they had a second line in the streets of New Orleans and she was dancing so hard, I think she just go overheated, and the seafood, I think she had a reaction to it.”

As any amazing sister would, Beyoncé swept her away to their hotel and had her take Benadryl to subdue the reaction. After about 2 hours, Solange snatched her life back in order and returned to the reception to perform choreographed dance number with her son, Julez to “No Flex Zone”.

The show MUST go on…

Mama Tina also shares with us how the vows were her favorite part of the ceremony:

“There wasn’t a dry eye on the place, they were just so heartfelt and I just think the wedding epitomized Solange as a person, and her and Alan’s artistic flare.”

…and this is why we love the Knowles Family!  What would you have done had you had a bad reaction on your big day?
