Who would have thought that Rae Sremmurd — (Ray – Shrim – er) is a duo? Not us! The duo consists of biological brothers, 20 year old, Slim Jimmy and younger counter part Swae Lee, who is 19. Signed to producer Mike Will Made-It‘s EarDrummers Entertainment/Interscope, the two deliver catchy sounds on infectious songs like their latest, “No Flex Zone” and “No Type”. Sia has become the faceless “blonde bob wig” woman. After “retiring” from being an artist she wanted strictly to be a songwriter, writing for the likes of Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Rihanna and more. But a 2011 collaboration with David Guetta would not allow her retirement to last long. Guetta, without permission, released, “Titanium” (a song written for Alicia Keys) with Sia’s vocals on it and the single blew up. So now back in the lime light, the faceless Sia remains a mystery, performing with her back to the audience and has dancers star in her videos wearing “the blonde bob wig” as if they are her. With the voice of an 8 year old kid with an auto-tune app, listeners found it hard to take Dej Loaf‘s lyrics seriously on her track “#TryMe” as she recited lyrics about “catching bodies” and “turning b*tches to some macaroni”. However, that did not hinder love for the song from fans all over. Who would have guessed that Dej Loaf was a day over 18? The Columbia Records signee is actually 23 years old! Drake’s artist iLoveMakonnen brings a twist to the game with his unique sound combo where Atlanta trap meets bedroom pop. In his feel good hit “Tuesday” that people probably knock daily, he sounds almost too young to be in the club that he has going “up”! Then he’s to another extreme sounding way older in his slurred track, “Don’t Sell Molly No Mo'”… How old is he? Born in 1989, iLoveMakonnen is pushing 25!

The irony of Mila J‘s beautiful, subtle voice and her delivering such adult experiences on tracks like “Smoke, Drink, Break Up” with Ty Dolla $ign and Trey Songz‘ “Disrespectful”; it’s hard to just guess Mila J’s age off the dome. Seeing Mila J’s slim and slender body in visuals such as “My Main” and “Times Like These”, doesn’t make guessing easy at all. Considering her years in the game and her hiatus, maybe, but her baby face alone may never read her 31 years of age!
