Our favorite, R&B’s new “It” girl, MILA J releases her music video, “Pain In My Heart” as the fourth installment to her 5 song visual EP, M.I.L.A. (Made In Los Angeles).
After her debut EP M.I.L.A., made its way to the #1 spot on the R&B iTunes charts, MILA J is back with a new visual to follow up on her current single “My Main” featuring Ty Dolla $ign. The video has received over 1 million views on Vevo in a few short weeks and continues to grow. This is not a surprise, as outlets such as, RESPECT, MTV, The Examiner, Stuff Fly People Like 🙂 and Complex recognized a star, originally falling in love with the singer when she released her break out song, “Smoke, Drink, Break-Up,” which has garnered nearly 4 million views on Vevo.

While MILA’s previous singles got her fans dancing in the clubs, her Orange Is The New Black inspired video, “Times Like These” allowed for LA’s girl next door and Nice Entertaining Magazine‘s cover girl to show off her vocal ability and maturity as an artist. In “Times Like These,” MILA J created a mini-movie starring her love interest, Grammy-award winning singer, Kevin McCall, and award-winning actor Gary Sturgis (Tyler Perry’s “Daddy’s Little Girls” & “Diary of A Mad Black Woman”). In “Pain In My Heart,” MILA J moves the M.I.L.A. EP to a mid-tempo ballad, that The Examiner exclaimed, “The production is intricate, and Mila’s voice is raw, honest, and compelling.”
M.I.L.A. (Made In Los Angeles) is now available on iTunes.
