Team SFPL arrived on location at the Helen Mills Event Space on Monday to attend the Toure Designs Fashion show featuring fly girl, Teyana Taylor‘s new clothing line. To our surprise though, we showed up to a sea of people outside the space, and a woman screaming that the event had been cancelled.
Cancelled?
After further investigation, witnesses told us that, Tahiry Jose (who was scheduled to walk in the show) was rushed to the hospital after she was brutally beaten. The Love and Hip Hop television star allegedly got into an argument with a man who goes by the name of Carlos Gonzales and was the on site production manager’s assistant for this fashion show. Witnesses say he wasn’t too fond of Tahiry from the beginning and was very unaccommodating when Tahiry asked a few mandatory questions like, did she have a room to do her hair and make-up. After dealing with his rude behavior for a bit too long, Tahiry confronted him about it and he lost his already short temper. Witnesses say Carlos unleashed a vicious verbal attack on Tahiry which led to her throwing a drink (water and lemon) in his face. This action enraged Gonzales even more and resulted in him beating her down to the ground until 7 or 8 men came to her rescue.

We hate news like this and Tahiry is a friend of the blog and my personal friend, so lowkey i’m pissed. Tahiry checked into Lennox Hospital on Monday where she is on her way to a speedy recovery.

Toure of Toure Designs would like to clear up the rumors and speculations going around about the brutal attack against one of his celebrity models Tahiry Jose that occurred on Monday September 08, 2014 at the Helen Mills event space.
“I would like to take the time to clear my company’s name, as this was not a Toure Designs show. We were part of the Angola International Fashion Show event. The incident didn’t take place backstage, it happened in front of the venue.
The Production Manager of the venue Carlos Gonzalez, seemed to already be against this event happening before the altercation took place. I would like to apologize to my fans and celebrity attendees that came to support me for this unfortunate incident. This was something that was totally not in my control. We at Toure Designs do not support or condone violence of any type let alone against women. We wish a speedy recovery to Tahiry. “

what is this world coming to when a pathetic man has to put his hands on a woman in that type of way..I bet he wouldn’t put his hands on a man like that..and it took that many guys to get him off of her..yes something is very wrong with his ignorant ass..it sounds like he wanted something from her that he didn’t get. that much rage because she stood up to this punk’s lil tantrum..grow up asshole… your family must be pretty darn proud of him.. ugh..I bet you any amount of money that this guy would not do a ma like that..punk..
