Last Night in NYC bottled water company WAT-AAH! teamed up with 19 year old Brooklyn phenom Joey Bada$$ for a secret concert, and team SFPL was on the scene.
WAT-AAH! celebrates spring break with the first installment of it’s #WATAAHWALL series in honor of Drink Up, The Partnership for a Healthier America’s initiative encouraging all Americans to drink more water and often. The pop-up performance took place WAT-AAH! and Drink UP! 2,500 sq. ft mural showcasing art by Kenny Scharf located in the heart of Soho at the intersection of Prince and Lafayette Street in a parking lot turned into a performance stage.
WAT-AAH!’s “Taking Back the Streets” is a collaboration between the brand and performance artist. The initiative which was launched on February 20th at NYC’s New Museum sole purpose is to bring music and street art to the forefront of the children’s health movement. With the enlistment of Joey the brand encouraged healthy hydration and engaged kids during the annual school years biggest break. Checkout photos from Joey’s performance below…
