Last Night at the Highline Ballroom located in NYC’s meatpacking district, team SFPL was on hand to see our current digital cover guy Mack Wilds put on hell of a show.It was definitely a celebration for the S.I. native as he has had one hell of year since the release of great album New York: A Love Story. Giz and Mateo got the show started as they warmed up the crowd of screaming ladies aka “wild things” for Mack. Mack didn’t disappoint either singing fan favorites off his album such as ‘My Crib’,’Henny’, ‘Magic’, Remember The Time’, ‘The Sober Up’, ‘Own It’, ‘Wild Things’ and ‘Duck Sauce’. Mack Wilds even performed D’Angelo’s sultry classic record ‘How Does It Feel’ and handled the track easily.Mack also had a few surprises in store for the sold out crowd as Troy Ave, Maino, Chinx, DJ Khaled and Jadakiss made surprise appearances. Our friends Bridget Kelly, Tahiry and Sofi Green were on hand to watch young Mack wow the crowd. With each performance Mack is clearly proving that he will definitely be a permanent fixture in this music game for a long time to come. Checkout some photos from last night’s performance below…
