Recently, Suite 36 Restaurant & Lounge, located in the heart of Manhattan’s Design District, hosted their Grand Opening celebration. The evening started off with a private VIP & Media preview of the venue’s full 360 degree luxury experience that included a specially prepared Chef’s Table, custom VIP suite activations with a mixology bar of organic juice cocktails, bourbon sampling, wine & cheese pairing and more.
Suite 36’s Executive Chef, Chef Kirk McKinney wowed guests with a sampling of his refined gastro menu, which will also be presented at the upcoming Food & Wine Festival, comprised of Crab Beignets, Miso Marinated Halibut, Grilled Lamb Chops and Key Lime Curd Tarts.
The VIP suite activation experiences throughout the venue including the Empire Suite (with a skylight view of the Empire State Building) featuring various wine and cheeses presented by a sommelier, the Presidential Suite with sampling of Old Forester Bourbon cocktails such as “The President Of The Company” and “Southern Style Adjustment” served in aged oak barrels, and The Plaza Suite that offered Pulp Organic Bar signature fresh juice cocktails such as “Bridge and Tunnel”, “Nine To Five”, and “The Professional”, all created by premiere mixologists, The Suspender Boys.
In addition, guests were entertained with performances by aerialists, violinist Sarina Suno and music by DJ Jeffrey Tonnesen. The grand opening celebration continued well into the evening with music provided by DJ Ruckus and DJ Reach.
Celebrity guests included Nastia Lukin (Olympic Gold Medal Gymnast), K. Michelle (Recording Artist), Elle Varner (Recording Artist), Sandy “Pepa” Denton of Salt-N-Pepa (Recording Artist), Plaxico Burress (Wide Receiver for Pittsburgh Steelers),
Ariane Davis (Love & Hip Hop ATL) and more.
Of course, the ‘Fly Guys’ (Gabe & Rae) were in the building!
