Bey Season has officially BEGUN! Bey’s new documentary will air on HBO in 2013. But here’s the thing, Beyonce will direct the film herself.

“Everybody knows Beyoncé’s music, but few know Beyoncé the person,” said Michael Lombardo, HBO president of programming, in a statement about the film. “Along with electrifying footage of Beyoncé onstage, this unique special looks beyond the glamour to reveal a vibrant, vulnerable, unforgettable woman.” [Via the Press Release]

The documentary will be a mixture “concert footage with confessional style interviews.” Seems like it will be similar to footage she’s released with her DVDs.

The documentary is set to air on HBO on Feb. 16, 2013.

“If it was Bob Dylan, Nicki Minaj would have had him sent to the cornfield!” Tyler told MTV News. “Whereas, if it was Bob Dylan with us, we would have brought the best of him out, as we did with ['Idol' contestant] Phillip Phillips.”

Tyler, further went on to say, “They should have something going on, which is called ‘camaraderie.’ They should have something going on so thick and beautiful that they can lay it over the new talent that’s trying to birth itself. It needs to be birthed, not judged by ‘entertainment’ factors, it needs to be judged by people that [are] honest, true, that have the ‘it’ factor. Not the ‘it’ factor because they can fight,” he said, referring to Nicki’s beef with Mariah.

“Steven Tyler said I would have sent Bob Dylan to a cornfield??? Steven, you haven’t seen me judge one single solitary contestant yet!” .

“You assume that I wouldn’t have liked Bob Dylan??? why? black? rapper? what? go fuck yourself and worry about yourself babe,” she said.

“LOL lets make him a shirt that says ‘No Coloreds Allowed’ then escort him down 2 Barbara Walters so he can tell how he was threatened w/guns,” 

“I understand you really wanted to keep your job but take that up with the producers. I haven’t done anything to you. That’s a racist comment.”

Is this how Marilyn Monroe felt?

I’m not sure if I believe his comments were Racist, And I do think he can rightfully comment with his judging experience. Nicki will make her judging debut when the 12th season of “American Idol” premieres in January.

Fox and it’s reps for American Idol have been trying  to dumb down the rumors surrounding Niki Minaj & Mariah Carey for weeks now. But with this new footage surfacing, the rumors appear to be true.  Step into this video of Nikki Minaj going off on Mariah Carey …

And here come the Barbz and Mariah Stans to battle, both with relevant points, but I digress.

Here’s the thing, I personally don’t think Nicki is qualified to be a judge. It’s a singing competition, she’s a rapper. She’s not written, composed, or produced enough material to sit behind that desk, and that’s just my opinion. That judge seat should be reserved for amazing singers with amazing catalogues, or the people responsible for such amazing careers, whether they be writers, producers etc.

None the less, Nicki’s outburst of four letter words makes her seem a little immature. Now, we don’t know what type of shade Mariah threw, but none the less, she kept it classy.

At least she did on camera.
