Chris Hemsworth reprises his role as Thor the God of Thunder and Lightning in Thor: The Dark World. The movie directly takes place after the events of The Avengers, Loki is locked up in Asgard  and all hell seems to be breaking loose in Thor's world. It must be really bad if Thor has to ask Loki for help. The movie is apart of Marvel's "phase 2"  plan with their film franchise as all the films tie into each other. Marvel clearly has its foot on the gas and doesn't seem to be letting up at all. Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston and yes ladies Idris Elba return for the sequel....

Well comic book nerds the summer movie season is almost upon us and with it comes the plethora of comic book films.  Fan favorite  Wolverine will make his return to the big screen in The Wolverine. Hugh Jackman reprises his role as the  popular X-Man in the James Mangold directed spinoff from 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine film. The Wolverine picks up where X-Men: The Last Stand  left off, Logan aka Wolverine is back to his nomadic ways and is still reeling from the loss of Jean Grey but as usual his past always seems to catch up with him. New Movie: White House Down (Trailer)

Posted by: Bernard Smalls    Tags:  Channing Tatum, Jamie Foxx, Movie Trailers, New Movies, White House Down    Posted date:  March 26, 2013  |  No comment

I'm starting to notice a reoccurring theme here with the White House and it being under attack in these movies. Roland Emmerich the man behind  Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow and 2012 is leaving mother nature , The Mayans and aliens and shifting his attention towards terrorist in White House Down. Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx star in the summer flick and hope to stop terrorist from taking down the U S of A's government in the what Emmerich hopes to be a summer blockbuster. Looking at the trailer I couldn't help but feel as if I saw this movie already *coughs* (Olympus Has Fallen)...

In theaters March 22nd 2013. As I walked into the Dolby 24 screening room I can admit I knew nothing about the film The Sapphires. I was completely aware it was a film based around  music . The Wolfpack is back! Stu (Ed Helms), Phil (Bradley Cooper) and Alan (Zach Galifianakis) return where all the drama started Las Vegas in the third installment in The Hangover franchise. Looks like the gang is all here except Alan's dad who apparently passed away in what is rumored to be the last film in The Hangover series. The film seems to be following the route of its previous two predecessors with the trio being shot at, chased and picking up wild exotic animals. There was no sign of Phil and Stu being drugged by Alan but im not going to rule that out. Checkout the hilarious trailer for The Hangover...
