Meet the Norwoords…
The superstar siblings will appear in the VH1 reality program “Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business,” along with their parents, entertainment manager and mother Sonja and musical father Willie Norwood. The one-hour, 11-episode series will give viewers a first-hand glimpse into the lives of the Norwood family and their family business, Rn’B Productions.
Run by Sonja, Rn’B Productions features a roster of musical artists including Brandy, Ray J, and their father Willie, who also serves as the company’s vocal coach. But with Sonja ready to take a step down, Brandy and Ray J will have to fill her shoes quickly all the while taking the family business to the next level.
The show documents Brandy as she records her next album with Timbaland, while raising her seven-year-old daughter Sy’rai. Her younger brother Ray J digs beyond his notorious bad boy image and collaborates on his own musical project with Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins and other producers.
We will watch this show because we absolutely live for Brandy Norwood. We are very anxious to see what she’s been up to as well as hear some new music.
Our Question is; is EVERY R&B Songstress going to ducument their road to a comeback now?
First there was Keyshia (although her family took over the show, it’s true intentions were to showcase her recording her second album), then Kandi (via The Housewives of ATL) , then Monica, Most recently Fantasia and now Brandy? I wouldn’t be surprised if cameras are following Ashanti right now. Bananas.
But will this in fact work B-Rocka? We say, Yes.
Brandy has a voice, that is unmatched, real talent. We are rooting for her, Ray J… Not so much. As long as he sticks to production and writing, maybe. Singing? Ahhhhhhh Wait a minute!

Not to be rude…but, They really need to sit their asses down asap! They’re too grown for family pics and ish. This pic just rubs me the wrong way..idk. Ray J smiling like he doesn’t have a sex tape out. Brandy cheesing like she didn’t kill someone. Sit down now! That’s all.

I’ll match your ignorance with any sensitivity you see in these comments. They are too grown to be making family portraits? Just lol. Why is Ray-J smiling like he didn’t have a sex tape. The smiling should stop after that. Lol again. Oh but wait for it, wait for it, because Brandy accidentally killed someone, which still haunts her till this day, she should never smile again, regardless of her and the victim family settling and moving on.
