FLY DISCUSSION: KEYSHIA COLE vs. BLACK PEOPLE

Now normally we don’t partake into much gossip, but we just received some quite interesting info from a reliable source.
About 3 weeks ago before Christmas, Keyshia Cole made a visit to the Cleveland Clinic, located in Cleveland Ohio. At this particular clinic, Keyshia was in the process of receiving prenatal care for her current pregnancy.
Sources say that Keyshia Cole made it quite clear to the Chairman and Staff of the clinic, that she does not want any Black (African-American) Nurses, Doctors, Receptionists to serve or even in her vicinity.
As an African-American, is this how we really display maturity and respect in a public establishment?? Personally, I think Keyshia may have cross the line quite a bit.
I mean, what would Frankie have to say about this ?…..

It’s one thing to want to keep your information private. But to specifically ask that no Black or African-American people are near you? REALLY?! AND YOU’RE BLACK?!!!And wait isn’t your BLACK family entertaining other BLACKS and WHITES on BET (BLACK entertainment television)?
Lol, Keyshia you have lost your damn mind. Black people aren’t the only ones that gossip, so her business got out anyways. LAME.

maybe because she feels her privacy would’ve been intruded! white people don’t know her so she doesn’t have to worry about them being hype, but ya’ll already know black folk woulda been hype callin family members up and everything! lol

If this is true, I find this totally STUPID of Keyshia. Remember how “hood” she was when she first stepped onto the scene? And now this type of stuff? Has she gotten so “big” that she can do without her fellow African Americans? NO!! Black people are who made Keyshia who she is. People of other races barely know who she is.
–BUT–
I DO understand that she may not want all her information released but that does not mean she should single out black people. When it comes to a celebrity, it doesn’t matter what race the person is; if you’re a big enough celebrity, you’re business is gonna get out. But that’s only IF you’re that big of a celebrity…

I think this was a bad idea to post on SFPL…I feel like we’re bigger than this and if thats what occurred, So be it. This isn’t a gossipy blog so why even entertain this. Whether its true or not, this doesn’t seem like the blog I’d expect to read this from. Just saying…but whatev. To each his own…*KanyeShrug*

WOW WOW WOW, I really dont know what to say about this. I mean is this why she kept her pregnancy a secret for as long as she could or “TRIED”. I wonder with her decission not to be in contact with her mom and sisters because of their antics,did this have anything to do with her decission to not have any “BLACK” people to assist her during her pregnancy!! I could go in but that would be a total waste of time,,WOW TALK ABOUT BEING HOLLYWOOD already and hollywood doesnt even know her IF Tthey will!!! she musta got some cole in her stocking this year!!!

I don’t blame her for wanting that. She knows that all of her business or health issues if she has any would be all over the blogs if she dealt with blacks. Some may not agree but it is true. When I go places and deal with annoying blacks, I ask to speak to someone white. When I need repairs in my house I tell them to send someone white. It is what is.

Some people..**ahem** like @Saphistocation, really do take themselves too seriously. We are the only self-hating race…when will we stop thinking Caucasion= Better…It was a silly comment, they talk just as much as we do, except they add in how much we hate one another. Smh…get it together people.

@porcelain Doll…i don’t think that it’s necessarily thinking that Caucasion is better or self hate. Its just that alot of times black people will mess something up, give you attitude and unprofessionalism in a heartbeat and i’m not saying all but it only takes a few bad ones to make the whole look bad.

I seriously doubt that there is any truth to this story. You guys spend hours out of your day trying to figure out how to throw dirt on someones name. GET A LIFE!!! If she didn’t like black people why would she be engaged to a Black maN?
