• Fly News: Singer Baiyu Will Be On CW’s ‘The Next’ w/ Nelly As Her Mentor

    Baiyu is representing NY on CW‘s The Next! The great thing about this show is that it showcases talent who are already on the verge of stardom. In essence, Baiyu and three other contestants from New York are the 4 rising stars of NYC.  With the help of mentor Nelly, watch as Baiyu takes it to from the performance platform a to The Next level.
    Executive-produced by Queen Latifah, The Next features Joe Jonas, Nelly, Gloria Estefan and John Rich as musical mentors to up-and-coming musicians in six different cities.  Over the course of 72 hours, each celebrity mentor will guide the contestants, by immersing themselves in the contenders’ lives. They go to work with them and socialize with them, all the while preparing them for their big performance.

    One winner will be chosen in each city and move on to the next round until ultimately, one performer remains and wins a recording contract with Atlantic Records.
